We are huge fans of recipes that are not only yummy but also fast and easy!  And this Cream Peanut Dip certainly fits the bill.  This dip is perfect for a mid-afternoon snack with some slices of apple or pear.  The kids will love it for a quick bite after school. And since we are headed into football season...
it is the perfect appetizer to bring along to any tailgating party.

It can easily be doubled or tripled to handle the crowd.  Mix up your fruits and even include some graham cracker sticks like those from Back to Nature.

Makes: 8 servings

Serving Size: 2 tablespoons sauce and 2 pear wedges

Ingredients
4 tablespoons creamy peanut butter (could substitute sunbutter)
2 tablespoon fat-free milk
2/3 cup frozen fat-free whipped dessert topping, thawed
1 medium red or green pear or apple, cored and cut into 16 slices*
1 medium apple, cored and cut into 16 slices*

Directions

In a small bowl, whisk together peanut butter and milk until combined. Gently fold in whipped dessert topping, leaving some streaks of whipped topping. Serve with fruit wedges. Makes 4 (2 tablespoons sauce and 2 pear wedges) servings.

Tip
*Test Kitchen Tip: To prevent fruit from browning, toss cut fruit with a little orange juice or lemon juice. If desired, use some red pear slices and some green pear slices.
